Born and raised in a family of musicians, DJ Citizen cultivated his talent of musical composition at an early age. With opportunities of making a career in more mainstream music, DJ Citizen instead decided to use his god given gift and implement them towards electronic music. He blossomed quickly as an artist in the realm of psychedelic trance and his work spread rapidly throughout the scene. Appearing at festivals such as "BURNING MAN", "BOOM", "GLADE", "RAINBOW SERPENT", "SONICA" and "UNIVERSO PARRALLELO", DJ Citizen a.k.a. ZEN MECHANICS has been touring all over the world with great success. DJ Citizen's work has appeared on many compilations and his first album, "OFF THE GRID" released from NEUROBIOTIC RECORDS, became a huge hit, leaving a great impression across the psychedelic trance community.
