RENTAL Rule

Person or persons renting equipment (hereinafter called "RENTER") and Solstice Music International (hereinafter called "OWNER") must both come to an agreement with the following terms listed below before equipment can be allowed for rental.

Rule1
This contract states that the RENTER has agreed with the terms regarding the duration of equipment being rented for and rental charges for the equipment, which will be provided to the RENTER through a customer receipt.
Rule2
When equipment is being picked up, we ask the RENTER to provide a valid form of ID.
Rule3
Rental charges will be paid in full prior to the release of equipment to the RENTER. (Only applies for first-time customers (RENTER). An invoice will be sent to customers (RENTER) that have previous rental records.)
Rule4
For equipment rental cancellations, the RENTER is required to pay the OWNER a cancellation fee. (3 days before – 1 day before scheduled rental date 50%, day of scheduled rental date 100%.)
Rule5
For equipment returning after the scheduled return time, the RENTER is required to pay the OWNER a rental extension fee. (For every hour, 15% of the daily rate will be charged.)
Rule6
The RENTER will keep, use, and maintain the rented equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's and or the OWNER's instructions.
Rule7
The RENTER must take full responsibility and is liable to pay for any damages caused to the equipment due to negligence or improper use.
Rule8
The RENTER must take full responsibility and is liable to pay full compensation for loss of equipment or equipment that is damaged beyond repairs.
Rule9
The OWNER will not take any responsibility for injury, loss or damages caused by the RENTER's negligence or inability to handle the equipment.
Rule10
The OWNER shall provide a fully functional piece of equipment to the RENTER on the basis that the RENTER is capable of operating the equipment. The OWNER will not take responsibility for claims that are caused by the RENTER's inability to operate the equipment.
Rule11
If rented equipment fails to operate in accordance with the OWNER and or manufacturer's specifications and operation instructions, the RENTER must contact the OWNER.
Rule12
The OWNER shall refund the full rental fee for equipment that fails, if it cannot be replaced with an identical or similar piece of equipment.
Rule13
The OWNER will not accept any equipment failure claims made by the RENTER after the use of and return of the equipment.
Rule14
In the case when equipment is stolen, damaged or lost in a fire, the RENTER must file and present a police report to the OWNER.
Rule15
The RENTER will not lend, lease, or sell equipment to a third-party. The RENTER will not make any modifications to the equipment, self-maintenance or claim that the equipment is their legal possession.
Rule16
If equipment is returned significantly dirtier than when rented out, the RENTER must pay a cleaning fee. (Starting from 3,000yen)
Rule17
In the case when a claim does not fall under any of the rules stated above, the RENTER and OWNER must work in partnership to settle the claim.
